Rental Agreement & Company Policies

By renting a jet ski from Winni Jet Ski Rentals, the renter agrees to comply with the following policies and assumes responsibility for the safe operation of the watercraft during the rental period.

Rental Requirements

Renters must be at least 21 years old and provide a valid government-issued photo ID.
Operators must be at least 18 years old to drive a jet ski.
The renter assumes full responsibility for the safe operation of the jet ski during the rental period.

Boating License Requirement

All renters and operators of the jet skis must possess a valid boating safety certificate or boating license recognized by the State of New Hampshire.

In accordance with New Hampshire boating laws, anyone operating a personal watercraft (jet ski) who was born after January 1, 1983 must have successfully completed a NASBLA-approved boating safety course.

Before the rental begins, renters may be required to present proof of their boating certificate or license.

Winni Jet Ski Rentals reserves the right to deny or cancel a rental if proper licensing documentation cannot be provided.

Operator Responsibility

Only individuals who meet all licensing, age, and safety requirements may operate the rented jet ski.

The renter is responsible for ensuring that any person operating the jet ski is properly licensed and authorized to do so.

Allowing an unlicensed, underage, or unauthorized person to operate the jet ski may result in:

Immediate termination of the rental
Forfeiture of rental fees
Loss of the security deposit
Responsibility for damages or legal penalties

Alcohol & Drug Policy

Operating a jet ski under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.

Winni Jet Ski Rentals maintains a zero-tolerance policy for intoxicated operators.

Customers who appear impaired may be refused service.
If a renter arrives under the influence, the rental may be cancelled without refund.
Rentals may be terminated immediately if unsafe or impaired behavior is observed.

The renter is responsible for ensuring that no operator of the jet ski is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Winni Jet Ski Rentals reserves the right to contact local law enforcement or New Hampshire Marine Patrol if impaired operation is observed.

Sandbar & On-Water Alcohol Clause

Jet skis may be used to travel to sandbars, beaches, or swimming areas on the lake.

However, operators may not consume alcohol or drugs if they intend to operate the jet ski afterward.

If renters stop at sandbars or swimming areas, the designated operator must remain completely sober before operating the watercraft again.

If an operator is believed to be impaired, Winni Jet Ski Rentals may:

Immediately terminate the rental
Withhold rental fees
Retain the security deposit
Hold the renter responsible for damages or legal penalties

Reckless Operation & Unsafe Riding

Jet skis must be operated in a safe and responsible manner at all times.

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

Reckless or negligent operation
Excessive speed in congested areas
Wake jumping or intentionally jumping boat wakes
Racing other boats or jet skis
Performing dangerous maneuvers such as spinning or donuts near other vessels
Operating too close to swimmers, docks, boats, or shorelines

Operators must follow New Hampshire’s 150-foot rule, which requires maintaining a safe distance from boats, swimmers, docks, and shorelines when traveling above headway speed.

Unsafe operation may result in:

Immediate termination of the rental
Loss of rental fees
Loss of the security deposit
Responsibility for damages, injuries, or legal penalties

Security Deposit

A security deposit may be required prior to the rental.

The deposit will be refunded after the jet ski is returned in the same condition it was delivered, minus any charges for damages, excessive cleaning, or late return fees.

Damage & Responsibility

Renters are responsible for any damage that occurs during the rental period, including but not limited to:

Collisions with other vessels or objects
Grounding or beaching the jet ski
Improper docking
Negligent operation

Repair costs may be deducted from the security deposit and additional charges may apply if damages exceed the deposit amount.

Rental Periods

Rentals are available hourly, full-day, and multi-day.

Full-day rentals typically run from sunrise to sunset, unless otherwise agreed.

Multi-day rentals must be returned at the agreed time on the final day of the rental period.

Late Returns

Late returns may result in additional hourly rental charges.

Significantly late returns may result in being charged the full daily rental rate.

Delivery & Pickup

Winni Jet Ski Rentals offers delivery service to select boat launches around Lake Winnipesaukee and Lake Winnisquam.

Customers must:

Arrive on time for scheduled delivery
Provide a safe launch location
Be available for pickup at the agreed time

Late arrivals may reduce the rental period.

Fuel Policy

Jet skis are provided with a full tank of fuel.

Renters must return the jet ski with a full tank or pay a refueling fee of $50.

Weather Policy

If weather conditions are unsafe, Winni Jet Ski Rentals may:

Delay the rental
Reschedule the rental
Cancel the rental

In the event of a weather cancellation, customers may reschedule or receive a refund.

Cancellation Policy

48+ hours notice: Full refund
24–48 hours notice: 50% refund
Less than 12 hours notice: No refund

Liability

By renting a jet ski from Winni Jet Ski Rentals, the renter agrees to assume all risks associated with operating a personal watercraft.

The renter releases Winni Jet Ski Rentals from liability for accidents, injuries, or damages except where prohibited by law.

Acknowledgment

By completing a booking or signing a rental agreement, the renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all policies listed above.
